Sexual Harassment Prevention Training ENGLISH VERSION

SB 1343 requires that all employers with 5 employees or more conduct Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.

For non-supervisory employees the training must be at least an hour.

For supervisory employees the training must be at least two hours.

It must be conducted by a qualified trainer.

It must happen every two years and within six months of hire.

For seasonal and temporary employees, it must occur within 30 days or 100 hours (whichever is soonest).

If you completed training in 2018, the DFEH wants you to complete it again in 2019.
Companies must also have a Harassment, Discrimination and Retaliation Prevention Policy in place as well, prior to the training date.
